C.V Balan Nair, the founder of Kerala School of Arts, had this conviction when he started an Arts School in Thalassery in the year 1933,for his fellow men, and generations to come.

Transferring through eminent educators like T.Ananthan, N.Ananthan, K.P.Somasundaram, K.V.Vijayan, P.Sarathchandran, P.S. Karunakaran, and A.V.Venugopal, his vision and grace has been guiding the successive managements of the school to continue it’s service to the society by imparting quality education and training to talented art students.

The school is now embarking on a phase of expansion in the near future, to attach futuristic facilities and faculties, aimed at the overall development of the students, both as individuals and as artists.-
